Dog Party USA is very strict on shot requirements for the protection of all our canine clientele. We require the following shots:

Rabies: Must be given by a licensed veterinarian. As of January 1, 2010, rabies shots given after that date will be good for 3 years.

DHLPP: This is a combination shot, usually containing Distemper, Hepatitis, Lepto, Parvo, and Parainfluenza. Different vets have different variations on this shot, so be sure to inquire. Some are good for a year, some for 3 years.

Bordetella: This is for canine cough, sometimes called “kennel cough.” We require that your dog be vaccinated for Bordetella every six months. Most vets use an intra-nasal vaccine, but if your vet uses an injectable vaccine, we will honor it for a year. We will need written proof that it is injectable.

Canine Influenza Vaccine: We no longer require the canine influenza vaccine, but we still recommend that you have your dog vaccinated for canine influenza to help build "community immunity" and to assist in preventing future outbreaks of the disease.
